A big “thank you” to the coaches, parents and runners for a great year end pot luck and awards ceremony at the High School on Monday, November 4th.
For those of you who could not make it, here is a summary of the event after the meal:
*Varsity letters were awarded by the coaches. Recipients were: Mickey Amo, Ian Galligan, Jordan Lemeiur, Jeremy Pflipsen, Jaiden Pick, Gavin Reed, Drew Wright, McKenzie Froiland, Katie Krepp, Stina Lindholm, Emma Mader, Abby Scapanski, Katelyn Scapanski, Colleen Schimnich, Julia Severson and Hailey Thielen.
*Central Lakes Conference Scholar Athletes were presented with their awards. Recipients were: Abby Scapanski, Katie Krepp and Stina Lindholm.
*Emma Mader received an award for Girls Cross Country Performer of the Week for the week ending September 28th.
*Six year runners Katie Krepp and Stina Lindholm were recognized and rewarded with running jackets
*2014 Team Captains were announced - Katelyn Scapanski, Colleen Schimnich, Gavin Reed and Drew Wright
*Tim Wright spoke briefly about off season running and training and our 100 mile, 150 mile and 200 mile clubs for next summer. He also discussed upcoming local races and the potential for group runs if the runners wanted to continue to run after the conclusion of the season.
