We need a minimum of 10-12 volunteers for the home meet next
Thursday (the meet is run in Mayhew Creek Park that is adjacent to the high

Volunteers are needed to stand at different points on the
course to make sure the runners don’t make the wrong turn on the course. If we get enough volunteers, then we should
not have to worry about our volunteers working more than one or two of the six
races. We will also make sure you are
able to watch your son’s or daughter’s race! If you volunteer, make sure you bring water
and bug spray with as it can be hot and buggy on the course!
I'm in the process of obtaining course maps from the
coaching staff. If I get them before the
meet, I will distribute them to all of you via email. The meet
will begin at 4:30 pm so I would like to meet with the volunteers at 4:15 to go
over our locations. If you can’t get
there at 4:15 but still want to volunteer, don’t sweat it, just come and find
me on the course and I will let you know what races to help out with and where
we need you.
