A huge thank you to the following people who have volunteered already to help on the course on Thursday afternoon! They are:
Tracy Wollak, Kia Lindholm, Todd Scott, Tim/Kristie Christoferson, Melissa Althaus, JoAnne Tennison, Mike/Julie Bukowski, Erik/Aby Froiland and Don Thielen.
If I could get just a few more, I would really appreciate it! That way, we can spread the help out so all of the parents will be able to watch their runners participate in their individual races.
For those who have volunteered, I will meet with all of you at 4:15 near the finish line/chute. I will have maps available and will highlight where we would like you on the course. Aby and Erik will hold down the fort again at the finish line and the rest of you we will place you on the course to make sure the runners go the correct direction at the forks in the trail. I will meet with the coaches before our meeting to make sure we are clear where the coaches want our volunteers.
I will let you know shortly on where we can keep our pot luck food (secure location) on Thursday while the meet is going on. Please remember to bring a dish or two to share and your own beverages. Again, runners’ parents and families are all invited.
