Storm 2011 Post Season Pot Luck - Sunday November 6 - 6 pm

Our season end pot luck is scheduled for this Sunday evening at 6 pm at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School commons.   The coaches will be providing plates, cups, silverware, napkins and drinks.

Please RSVP to Tim Wright at twright1@progressive.com how many family members will be attending and what you will be bringing to the pot luck.  If we bunch up too much in one area, I may send out another email asking a few to change.

I don't have the complete email list of all of the runners, so please make sure if you of someone who doesn't get my emails to forward this message on to them.

We are all looking forward to this Sunday evening!! Let's celebrate every one's improvement from the start of the season to the end!!

Central Lakes Conference Meet - Pre-race Meal Monday October 17

The team and coaches will be gathering after practice (roughly 5 pm)  at the parents of Sara Johnson on the eve of the Central Lakes Conference Meet for a pre-race meal (pasta! yummy!).  Good luck runners at the Conference meet!!

Storm CC Post Season Pot Luck - Sunday November 6

Please mark your calendars and plan on attending our post season pot luck at the Sauk Rapids-Rice High School on Sunday November 6 at 6 pm.  We will be having the pot luck in the north commons again. We wanted to get the date out early so everyone can plan accordingly (including our hunters :-))

Thank you to all who turned out for the Tech Invitational post race meal at Pizza Ranch.  We had a lot of runners and parents attend and it is great to see the team celebrate together the hard work of all of the runners!

          *The hosts won’t start varsity races before scheduled times(4:30 PM & 4:55 PM),

Exit in Albertville on County 19.  Take a right (south) on County 19. Follow through Albertville and downtown St. Michael to 32^nd street, then turn left(east) on 32^nd for approx. 2 blocks, curve right as you go down hill and turn left into Rec. Center, right after curve.

St. Cloud Tech Post Race Meal - Tuesday October 11

The team will be going over to Pizza Ranch in Waite Park after the meet next Tuesday.  Family members are invited to attend.  Please RSVP yes or no to Tim Wright, by FRIDAY OCTOBER 7 as Tim needs to get a head count to the Pizza Ranch staff by then.

Willmar Optimist Meet Results

From the St. Cloud Times:

WILLMAR — Sam Sunstrom took third with a time of 15:33 to represent Sauk Rapids at the Willmar Invitational. Taylor Janssen won the girls race, leading Moorhead to the team win. Sauk Rapids freshman Mickey Amo ran the boys race in 19:01 to finish 43rd overall and lead the Storm.
