I need to pass
along some information for the upcoming CC season. I have had a few
inquiries about what time practices will be in August. We will be
practicing in the mornings from 8 am
-10am on the weeks of August 14-18 and August 21-25. That last week of
August, we have a meet on August 28,
practice the 29th 3:30 pm -5:30 pm, no practice on Wednesday, practice Thursday the 31st 3:30 pm -5:30 pm and
Friday 8 am -10 am. I hope this helps some of you in planning through the
month of August. Just one more date that you may want to add to your calendar
if the fall sports meeting on August 7
at 7PM.
Also, the last week
in July on the 26th, we host a meat
raffle at the VFW in Sauk Rapids. This
is the only fundraiser that we do. It is tied to a car show and
burger night, so there is not a lack of people to buy raffle tickets.
Unfortunately, I will be gone that whole week and am going to need at least 5-6
parents who can be there to sell tickets. My dad, Ken will be there to
make sure everything else is running smoothly. The date is July 26 from
approximately, 4 pm -7pm. If you can commit to being there and helping sell
tickets, please send me an email (marie.zeilenga@isd47.org)
so I know who to contact a little bit closer to the date.
I hope summer is
going great for all of you!! If you have any questions about the upcoming

with me. I hope that many of you are taking advantage of the group runs our
captains have put together! Their next run in tomorrow at 9AM, starting at the
spiral by the SR bridge.
