Apollo Early Bird Invitational Meet Information - Monday August 31

Apollo Invitational will be held on Monday, August 31st at the VA Hospital located across the street from Apollo High School, 1000 44^th Ave. No., St. Cloud. 

TIME SCHEDULE:

3:45 p.m.         Coaches meeting

4:00 p.m.         Junior High Girls         3200 m 

4:25 p.m.         Junior High Boys        3200 m 

4:50 p.m.         Girls JV                       

5:25 p.m.         Boys JV                       

5:55 p.m.         Girls Varsity                

6:30 p.m.         Boys Varsity               

Awards to follow: outside the Reed building 92, across the hedge as in the past.

Concessions on site

Restrooms:  Portable toilets on site near the course

Athletes driving, please park in the Apollo lot.  Spectators – please park in the lot between the fence and stoplight.

Participating teams in 2015: Sartell-St. Stephen, Sauk Rapids-Rice, St. Cloud Tech, Coon Rapids, Elk River, Forest Lake, Hutchinson, St. Cloud Cathedral, Wayzata, Andover, Dassel-Cokato, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, St. Cloud Apollo.

A maximum of 7 runners will be allowed in the varsity race.  Junior High may consist of grades 7 –9.

Clothing order due WEDNESDAY August 19!

Good morning Storm CC family.

A couple of reminders from Coach Zeilenga:

1      The deadline for clothing orders through Rambow is TOMORROW, Wednesday August 19^th.   The link is here: http://www.rambow.com/  and the store code is “stormxc”.

2       Please remember to invite your friends and siblings to join the team!  It’s never too late to join the team.   Cross Country is different than most sports in that you never sit on the bench.  You will ALWAYS participate in the meets provided you are eligible under school rules.  Ask your friends to join the fun and healthy atmosphere of the cross country team!

Practice starts today!! (Monday, August 17)

Just a reminder to everyone that CC practice starts today at 3:30 pm!!  The weather got noticeably cooler just in time!  There will be a meeting in the wrestling room upstairs at the start of practice.  If you don’t know how to find it, there will be other runners/teammates at Door 6 on the west end of the high school to greet you and escort you to the room.

Please remember that you have to have your proper paperwork turned in to the activities office BEFORE practice if you wish to participate today.

Post Fall Sports Meeting Reminders!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Falls Sports Meeting last Wednesday, August 5!

A couple of quick reminders from Coach Zeilenga:

1) Please turn in your MSHSL paperwork as soon as possible and pay your fee on the ISD 47 website!  Both of these items can be done on line.
