Terrific turnout at the Storm CC Fundraiser!

A very big "thank you" to all of the athletes and families who showed up to volunteer and participate in the VFW Raffle and Burger Night on Wednesday, July 25th!!  We had a great turnout and it was fun to see all of the families together at the event.  The momentum of our program was certainly evident by the number of participants!

2012 Storm CC Clothing Order Information

You will be able to order Storm CC clothing beginning on Wednesday August 1 through Wednesday August 15.  Please make sure your order is placed within this two week window to ensure your order arrives before the meet season starts!!

The website and code information to place your orders will be provided to everyone in a blog entry in the near future.  Please check back soon!

Storm CC Fund Raiser - Sauk Rapids VFW

Our first fund raiser of the 2012 season is set for Wednesday, July 25th at the Sauk Rapids VFW on Benton Drive between downtown and the Highway 15 bridge. 

On the 25th, the VFW will be having a meat raffle, burger feed and a car show in the parking lot from 4-8 pm. 

Three to four more adults are needed to help sell raffle tickets in the bar area and four to five athletes are needed to assist in the kitchen/dining area to help serve burgers.  Lastly, a few athletes are also needed to assist in traffic control in the parking lot.

Please respond to Tim Wright at twright1@progressive.com if you are able to assist.  We really need parents and athletes to step up and help on this one.  We have limited fund raising opportunities and we want to make it the best we can when we get that chance.

Coaches Run Reminder

The next coaches run is set for Wednesday evening, July 18th at 7 pm.

As always, we gather on Sunday nights at Municipal Park as well at 7 pm.

2012 Storm CC Clothing

A heads up to all of the athletes and parents:  Coach Zeilenga will be meeting with the clothing vendor in the very near future to assemble Storm CC clothing for the 2012 season.   If things go well, we should be able to start ordering clothes for this season around August 1st.

Storm CC Meat Raffle - July 25

Our first fundraiser for the 2012 season will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at the Sauk Rapids VFW.  Please check back for specific times.  Athletes can assist in the burger area and parents will assist selling raffle tickets in the bar area.  Please mark your calendars and spread the word about our fundraiser.  Please contact Tim Wright or Coach Zeilenga if you can help out.

Reminder: No Coaches Run the week of July 1 - Time Change for future Coaches Runs!

This week is black out week for the Minnesota High School League, as a result, there will be no coaches run this week.

Starting the week of July 8, the coaches run will be moved from 3:30 pm to 7 pm on Wednesdays.  The runs will still take place at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.
