Year End Pot Luck and Awards Ceremony Summary

A big “thank you” to the coaches, parents and runners for a great year end pot luck and awards ceremony at the High School on Monday, November 4^th.   

For those of you who could not make it, here is a summary of the event after the meal:

*Varsity letters were awarded by the coaches. Recipients were: Mickey Amo, Ian Galligan, Jordan Lemeiur, Jeremy Pflipsen, Jaiden Pick, Gavin Reed, Drew Wright, McKenzie Froiland, Katie Krepp, Stina Lindholm, Emma Mader, Abby Scapanski, Katelyn Scapanski, Colleen Schimnich, Julia Severson and Hailey Thielen.

*Central Lakes Conference Scholar Athletes were presented with their awards. Recipients were:  Abby Scapanski, Katie Krepp and Stina Lindholm.

*Emma Mader received an award for Girls Cross Country Performer of the Week for the week ending September 28^th.

*Six year runners Katie Krepp and Stina Lindholm were recognized and rewarded with running jackets

*2014 Team Captains were announced -  Katelyn Scapanski, Colleen Schimnich, Gavin Reed and Drew Wright

*Tim Wright spoke briefly about off season running and training and our 100 mile, 150 mile and 200 mile clubs for next summer.   He also discussed upcoming local races and the potential for group runs if the runners wanted to continue to run after the conclusion of the season.

Former Storm CC'er Samantha Sunstrom finishes strong at NCAA CC Regional

Congratulations to Sam as she finished 23rd out of 203 runners at the 2013 NCAA Central Region Division II Championships in Sioux Falls last weekend.   Sam finished her freshman year as the top runner on the Huskies and clocked a personal record 23:01 on the 6K course.

Year End Pot Luck and Awards Ceremony - Monday November 4th!

Please make sure to attend the Storm Cross Country year end pot luck and awards ceremony! It will be held in the High School commons at 6 pm.  Runners and their families are welcome.

A cooler of water will be provided along with eating utensils.  Please bring a dish to share (two if you have the ability!) You can bring your own drinks for you and your family if you so desire.

If you have photos to share as well, you can bring them on a CD or a laptop if you wish. 

The coaches will present awards to the runners and speak briefly to the group after our meal is done.

The Endrunance Shop co-sponsors the Hump Day 5K every Wednesday at 6 pm.  The course changes from week to week, is run year round and is free of charge.  A great non-competitive option for our runners and parents to participate.  Many of our runners and parents have participated in this event in the past.  You can get more information here:

Additionally, if there is enough interest, we can organize a group run on the weekends in November before winter sports start.  We can run from Sauk Rapids Coborn's and do a 4.5 mile loop running the river and crossing the St. Germain Bridge and the Sauk Rapids bridge.   Please talk with Tim Wright at the year end pot luck if you have interest.

Special recognition to some of our runners on one of the tougher courses to run this season (think Kimball or Paynesville):  Emma Mader turned in a season best 17:51 on the 4000 meters girls course.  Julia Severson had her second best finish for the season, running an 18:11 and Colleen Schmnich finished with her second best time of the season, running a 19:45.

On the boys side, two runners, Mickey Amo and Gavin Reed turned in their third best season performances.  Mickey covered the 5000 meter course in 18:51 and Gavin ran it in 20:02.

A results book will be given to all of the runners at the upcoming season end pot luck and awards ceremony on Monday, November 4th.

Lost jacket at the Central Lakes Conference Meet

Coach Zeilenga has asked me to get the word out regarding a lost jacket belonging to Emily Thompson.

It is a grey Columbia jacket with the name "Emily" on the tag. Coach Zeilenga has a coat similar to it that was left behind. It is likely a middle school runner inadvertently took Emily's coat by accident at the CLC meet in Brainerd two Tuesdays ago instead of their own.

Please return the jacket to one of the coaches if you grabbed it by accident and they can get your coat back to you. Thanks!!

Former Storm CC Runner Sam Sunstrom Earns All NSIC Honors at Conference Meet

Congratulations to Samantha Sunstrom, a 2013 SRR graduate and former Storm Cross Country runner for her performance at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Championships this past Saturday in Sioux Falls, SD. 

Sam ran a collegiate personal best 22:16 on the 6K course to finish 17th overall which earned her Second Team NSIC All Conference. 

Sam and the Huskies will be back in Sioux Falls on the same course on Saturday November 9 to compete in the NCAA Division II Central Regional meet.  Congratulations and good luck to Sam and the Huskies!

Thursday 10/24 - Pre-meet school information

Just a reminder for those Varsity and JV runners who are either participating or spectating at the 8AA Sectional meet in Detroit Lakes on Thursday 10/24:

Everyone going to DL will be eating “A” lunch shift.  They will only be participating in hours 1 and 2 on Thursday!

If you are not competing, please make sure to bring warm clothing (coats/hats/gloves).    The current weather forecast:

Mostly cloudy with snow showers, then snow showers and rain in the afternoon. High of 39F with a windchill as low as 21F. Winds from the NW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 20%.

Uniform Returns and 8AA Meet quickie

A reminder to all of the athletes to please turn in their uniforms as soon as they can at the completion of the season.   The deposit checks will be returned to everyone at the year end awards pot luck on Monday November 4th.

JV and Varsity runners that did not make the 9 person roster for Sectionals have been invited to ride along and spectate if they wish.

Just a reminder: Middle School students who are on varsity will be excused at 11:30. High School students will be excused at 11:45. Bus leaves at 12:15.  We will stop and eat after the meet and should be home around 8 pm.

Brainerd Central Lakes Conference Meet Results

Congratulations to all of the runners and the number of season personal records set at the CLC Meet in Brainerd!

Five of the nine junior high boys set season bests and five of the seven junior high girls set season bests on the 3200 meter course.  Three of the eight JV girls and four of the nine JV boys set season highs on their respective courses as well!

Five of the seven Varsity girls set season bests at the meet and one of the seven Varsity boys had a personal record.

Special recognition to three of our veteran runners who set career bests marks in Brainerd!! Katelyn Scapanski ran a 17:03 in her 4000 meter event, Colleen Schminich tied her career best at 19:10 and Jaiden Pick ran his first sub 20:00 in the 5000 meter event, running a 19:54.

Home Stretch Quick Hitters

-Big "thank you" to the Scapanski's for hosting 50 runners at their house on Monday for a pasta dinner just before the Central Lakes Conference Meet on Tuesday! 

-Pizza party reminder: tonight after practice, the team will be treated to pizza and movie.  Athletes, please bring your own beverages to drink. 

-Parents will be emailed maps for the Minnesota State High School Section 8AA Finals next Thursday, October 24th in Detroit Lakes.  The whole email list will get the maps, but the participants are limited to the two varsity teams only.  If your athlete is not participating, you can obviously disregard the email.

-Mark your calendar: the year end team pot luck and awards ceremony will take place on Monday, November 4th.  Please check back for more specific details.

Sartell Junior High Classic Storm Medalists

Congratulations to all of the Storm medalists at the Sartell Junior High Classic that took place on Friday, October 11.

Julia Severson placed third in the 7th grade meet with a 3200 meter time of 14:10.

Emma Mader was 11th in the 8th grade meet with a 3200 meter time of 14:32.

McKenzie Froiland placed 9th in the 9th grade meet with a 3200 meter time of 14:45.

We are scheduled for two meets this week.  The whole team at Oak Hill Elementary on Tuesday for the St. Cloud Tech Invitational and grades 7-9 on Friday at the Sartell Middle School Meet. 

The athletes WILL be bused to the meets from school each day.  However, there will be no buses back to the school following the meets.  Please make arrangements to have your athletes picked up after each of the meets.

Please remember we have a team gathering at Pizza Ranch in Waite Park following the Tech meet!

Litchfield Meet Results

Congratulations to all of the Storm runners who set seasonal Personal Records (PR's) yesterday in Litchfield!

Overcast skies, cooler temps and a extremely flat course were certainly taken advantage of by most of the runners yesterday.

All but two of the Varsity and JV runners (boys and girls together) set season PR's yesterday.  Everyone of the Junior High runners improved their 2500 meter times from the Paynesville meet (some as much as four minutes!) !

Keep up the hard work in practice runners and your times won't lie in your races!

St. Cloud Tech Post Race Gathering - Tuesday October 8

Pizza Ranch - Waite Park

Athletes and their families are welcome to get together after the St. Cloud Tech meet at Oak Grove Elementary school on Tuesday, October 8.  We have space reserved between 7 and 8 pm in one of the party rooms.  We had a very good turnout last year and we are excited to get together again this year.

Pasta Dinner Feed - Monday October 14

A huge "thank you" to the Scapanski family for hosting the annual pasta dinner for the runners on the day before the Central Lakes Conference meet!  Here are the details:

Practice will conclude at 4:30 pm and the team will get out to the Scapanski's by 5 pm. Eating will start between 5:15 and 5:30 and should be done by 6:15.

Junior runners: please bring fruit or veggies.  Senior runners: please bring desserts.  The Scapanski's will be offering their home, spaghetti, garlic bread and lemonade.

The team will be coordinating rides from the school out to the dinner.  If you have any concerns and wish to take your runner out on your own to the dinner, you are welcome to and then come back and pick them up when they are done.

Pancake Breakfast Recap

A huge "THANK YOU" to all of the students and parents for all of the hard work and ticket sales at yesterday's Pancake Breakfast at Rollie's!!  It was nice to see all of the teamwork on display amongst the students and parents.  There were people busing tables, serving food, collecting money and tickets, wiping tables, bringing food out from the kitchen and thanking our supporters for buying tickets.

It was a great sight to see all of the people of our community coming together to support our team!

Please let your friends and families that tickets ARE available at the door!   We only do two fund raisers a year (Meat Raffle at the VFW in July), so your participation and bringing others to the breakfast are vital to our program!

Congratulations to all of the runners who competed on the tough hills of the Kimball Golf Course and the humid running conditions.

The Storm CC team placed at least one runner in the top 15 of all six races yesterday! That is the first time in recent memory we have had a top runner in all six of the races so congratulations to the team!

Saturday Morning Breakfast Run Details - Saturday September 21st

A big "thank you" to the Zimmerman's for hosting last week's breakfast run!  Also a big "thank you" to the Schimnich's for hosting this coming Saturday's breakfast!

The run will be from 7:30-9:30 am at Kurt's warehouse at 1931 15th St NE in Sauk Rapids.  This is located on County Rd 45 just east of County Road 1 (Mayhew Lake Road).  County Road 45 goes east from Mayhew Lake Road to the Wapicada Golf Course.

The practice is for all senior high runners but junior high runners are also welcome.

If you are a new family to the Storm Cross County team in 2013, please track down Brenda Wright at a future meet for a Storm CC button to wear at our future meets.  She did pass out quite a few at the Little Falls meet, but if you didn't get one, please track her or her husband Tim down.  At this point, we have enough for one per family.  Depending on interest, we might be able to give away two per family eventually

End of the Week Odds and Ends - Friday 9/13

Congratulations to all of the runners who trimmed a lot of time off of their previous week's times by taking advantage of yesterday's cooler weather and favorable course (flat and shaded)! Great to see even MORE new runners at the meet as well!

Saturday Morning Practice Breakfast Run Information 9/14

This Saturday's run will be hosted by the Zimmerman's at 7:30 am.   They are located at 1101 Summit Way in Sauk Rapids.  Summit Way is a cul de sac street just off of Summit Avenue behind the Sterling House and near the Sauk Rapids balloon water tower.  Coach Zeilenga will be handing out maps at a future practice this week as well. 

Please remember senior high runners are expected to participate and junior high runners are optional attendees.

Saturday Morning Practice Breakfast Run

A big "thank you" to the Froiland's for hosting this past Saturday's practice breakfast run!  The turnout was fantastic and a good time was had by all.

Another big "thank you" goes out to the Zimmerman's for hosting this coming Saturday's (9/14) run.  Please check back later in the week for more details on the run.

First Saturday Morning Breakfast Run - September 7, 2013

Our first Saturday breakfast run will be Saturday, the 7th of September at Erik and Aby Froiland's house in Sauk Rapids.  They live at 1815 Star Drive.  The breakfast is for the runners only.  High School runners are expected to attend, Junior High runners are welcome to join as well.  Practice will run from 7:30 to 9:30 am.

The Froiland's live just off of 18th Street Northwest (the street that runs from the Holiday Station at Highway 15 and turns into Summit Avenue by the Sauk Rapids balloon water tower) on Star Drive and are the fourth place on the left.

Runners: we will see you there!

Thank you parents!

A huge thank you to the parents last night for helping out on the course and bringing food to the pot luck which followed the meet!  We had a very successful evening. 

All of the runners got to the finish line without any wrong turns and got the proper hydration when finished. It was a real treat to see all of the new Storm runners out there and all of the new parents willing to help. 

Thank you to the coaches and some of the Sauk Rapids-Rice faculty members as well for their smooth handling of the meet.

Home Meet Race Day Reminders

A couple of quick reminders about tonight's meet:

1) Pot luck follows the awards ceremony in the commons.  Runners and families are invited.  Please bring a dish or two to share, along with your own beverages.  You can store your food in the Career Room starting at 3:30 pm.

2) A huge thank you to all of the parents who have stepped up to volunteer!  We will be meeting at 4:15 near the finisher's chute to organize what races you will work and your location on the course.  You may need sunscreen and/or bug spray while volunteering.

3) Please come back for details on this Saturday's (9/7) breakfast run.

Pot Luck Storage on Thursday

The Career Center room will be open at 3:30 pm on Thursday if you wish to store your Pot Luck items there while attending the meet.

The Career Center is in the main hallway that runs from the west side of the building to the Commons.  It is just past the Performing Arts Center and across the hallway from the DECA concessions stand.

Storm Home Meet Volunteer and Pot Luck Update

A huge thank you to the following people who have volunteered already to help on the course on Thursday afternoon!  They are:

If I could get just a few more, I would really appreciate it!  That way, we can spread the help out so all of the parents will be able to watch their runners participate in their individual races.  

For those who have volunteered, I will meet with all of you at 4:15 near the finish line/chute.  I will have maps available and will highlight where we would like you on the course.  Aby and Erik will hold down the fort again at the finish line and the rest of you we will place you on the course to make sure the runners go the correct direction at the forks in the trail.   I will meet with the coaches before our meeting to make sure we are clear where the coaches want our volunteers.

I will let you know shortly on where we can keep our pot luck food (secure location) on Thursday while the meet is going on.  Please remember to bring a dish or two to share and your own beverages.  Again, runners’ parents and families are all invited.

Home Meet Volunteers needed!

We are looking for adult volunteers to work at our meet on Thursday, September 5th.  Tim Wright can meet with the volunteers at 4:15 to go over the locations of where we need help.

We need two volunteers at the finish line and four volunteers to be scattered on the course.   We can switch the volunteers out so they can watch their runners participate in their respective races. 

The finish line volunteers will help make sure the runners go into the correct finishing chutes and stay in order of finish after they cross the finish line.  They will also help the runners after the finish with any needs they may have and of course, hydration.

The course volunteers will be placed in four locations to make sure the runners do not make a wrong turn on the course.

Pot Luck Reminder!

Just a reminder that our team Pot Luck will follow the conclusion of our home meet on Thursday, September 5th.  We will be meeting in the commons area following the awards ceremony.

Storm Cross Country Invitational Home Meet Information

The meet will be held on Thursday September 5, 2013.  The course is in Mayhew Creek Park which is adjacent to Sauk Rapids High School on the north side of the school.

4:30 7th and 8th Grade girls
4:50 7th and 8th Grade boys
5:10 JV Girls
5:35 JV Boys
6:00 Varsity Girls
6:20 Varsity Boys

Teams: Sauk Rapids-Rice, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Cathedral, St. Cloud Tech, St. Cloud Christian, Eden Valley-Watkins, Sartell (JV and Jr. High only).

Pancake Breakfast fund raiser tickets have been distributed

All of the runners that were at practice last Friday have received their tickets to sell for the Pancake Breakfast at Rollie's on Sunday September 29th.  If you have not received the tickets, please get them from Coach Zeilenga at the next practice.

Each of the runners were given 10 tickets and the expectations are to sell all 10 and not to return any of them.  As this is our primary fundraiser, it is very important to get all of the tickets sold.  If you can sell more than 10, please get more tickets from Coach Zeilenga.

Other than Burger Night at the VFW, this is the ONLY other fundraiser we have for the team.  The team has needs to fulfill (such as uniforms due to our growth from this year to last) and selling your tickets and volunteering to work the breakfast are very important to our program!

Parents, if you have a place to post a flyer of our event at your place of employment, church, etc, please let us know and we can get a flyer to you right away to get the word out!

Apollo Meet Canceled - Pot Luck Date Moved

Unfortunately due to the unseasonably hot weather (heat index of 105) , the Apollo meet scheduled for Monday, August 26th has been canceled. 

Practice will be held at the high school 3:30-5:15 instead.

The pot luck will follow the home meet on Thursday September 5th inside the school.

Apollo Invitational will be held on Monday, August 26th at the VA Hospital located across the street from Apollo High School, 1000 44^th Ave. No., St. Cloud.

A maximum of 7 runners will be allowed in the varsity race.  Junior High may consist of grades 7 –9.

Parking is allowed in the Apollo North Lot and overflow lot across from Apollo.  You may use the restrooms at Apollo, Door 7.

Storm Pot Luck - Monday August 26th!

Our first meet is next Monday, August 26^th.  We will be continuing our annual tradition of a post race pot luck at the Wrights following the meet!

Directions: From Benton Drive, you can take First Avenue North up the hill.  Right on 10^th. Right on 2^nd Avenue. Right on Frontier Court.  The second house on the right.  From Highway 15, you can turn at the stop lights at 18^th Avenue Northwest (Holiday Gas Station). Make a right on 2^nd Avenue North and follow to Frontier Court.

What to bring:  extra lawn chairs as we won’t have seating for everyone in our garage, drinks for you and your own family and one or two dishes to share.   A couple of years ago, we were heavy on desserts, so please, if you can, try not to bring too much of one thing.  

Please RSVP BY 3 PM ON FRIDAY AUGUST 23^RD how many will be attending and what you will be bringing.  If I sense there is too much food of a certain area, I may send out another email or post another message on the blog.

Storm Uniform Information

Coach Zeilenga spoke with the athletes today about uniforms and here is the process for the 2013 season:

A hold of $60 must be placed on the uniforms this season to ensure the uniforms are returned at the end of the season. Your check will not be cashed but will be held until the uniform is returned at the end of the season.

Uniforms will be checked out on Thursday and Friday of this week.  Checks can be brought in before that however.  Please make the checks out to SRR Cross Country.

MSHSL Eligibility Form and Physical Forms

If you have not yet turned in your required forms, please do as soon as possible! The Minnesota State High School League Eligibility Form needs to be turned in along with the required physical approval from your doctor if you haven’t obtained a physical in the past THREE years.  

Please remember to pay the activity fee BEFORE the first meet at Apollo/VA on Monday, August 26th!

Fall Sports Meeting - Monday August 5

Sauk Rapids-Rice school district will be having their fall sports meeting at the high school on Monday, August 5 at 6:30 pm.    All of the parents and athletes will be meeting in the Performing Arts Center and then will be breaking out to other locations to discuss their specific sports.

You will be able to meet our coaching staff for this season and there will be a short agenda to go over some of the activities planned for this coming season.

Burger Night Reminder - July 31!

Just a reminder, our first fund raiser for the Storm Cross Country team is set for Wednesday, July 31 at the Sauk Rapids VFW.  We would like to ask a few favors of you.  One, can you please spread the word via your social media sites?  Two, we need adults who would be willing to sell tickets to the VFW patrons who are there on Burger Night for the meat raffle. Three, if you have the time, please come down and enjoy the food and/or the raffle and keep company with all of the Storm parents and athletes.  Thanks!

Captain's Practice Time has changed for future practices!

Captains's practices have moved to 8 am for the remainder of the summer until practice starts on Monday August 12.

Sunday night group runs have wrapped up

Due to low participation numbers, we will be discontinuing the Sunday night group runs the last four weeks before practice starts on Monday August 12th.

You are welcome to email Tim if you still have interest in running together on Sunday as he may be able to coordinate a different time or place to get together.

Captains Practice begins this Friday 7/12!

Storm CC Captain Jordan LeMieur is announcing Captain's practices start tomorrow, Friday July 12th at 10:30 am. Practices will be every Friday at this time at SRR High School until the season starts on August 12.

Practice Times set for the first two weeks!

Practice will be from 7:30-9:30 am Monday through Friday beginning on Monday August 12. We will be meeting each morning in the Wrestling room on the second floor of SRR High School.

Sunday Night group moved to Monday night next week (7/7-7/8)

Because of the long 4th of July weekend coming up, we are moving our group run from Sunday night the 7th to Monday night the 8th.   Same time (7 pm), same location (Sauk Rapids Municipal Park).

Saturday breakfast runs to continue in 2013!

The Storm Cross Country team will be practicing on Saturday mornings in September on the 7th, 14th and 21st.   The team will be looking for volunteers to host the breakfasts on these three Saturdays.

Our 2012 breakfast runs were very successful and the food provided to the athletes was terrific!  If you wish to host one of the three Saturdays, please contact Tim Wright via email at twright1@progressive.com.

Save the date - Storm Cross Country Pancake Breakfast

Please set aside the date for the Storm Cross Country Pancake Breakfast.  It is set for Sunday morning, September 29 at Rollies in Sauk Rapids.  This will be the day after our meet in Willmar on Saturday September 28.

Ticket prices are currently set at $7 for adults, $4 for kids 4-12 and Free for children 3 and under.

Our runners will be asked again this season to sell tickets to friends and family.  Please keep in mind this is our PRIMARY fund raiser.  Volunteers will be needed (student athletes and parents alike) to work the breakfast that day as well.

Proceeds from our prior fundraisers have enabled the team to purchase things like new uniform shorts, renting coach buses to travel to far away meets and food/water for the athletes at meets as well.

2013 Storm CC Clothing Order Preliminary Information

Tentative dates have been set to order Storm Cross Country clothing for this coming season.  Clothing orders are set to be taken between Monday, August 5 and Sunday, August 18.  The clothing should be delivered by Thursday, September 12, the day of the Little Falls meet.

Please check back for further details about where you can go to order the clothing and if the dates change at all.

Sam Sunstrom sets school mark at State Track Meet!

Congratulations to former Storm Cross Country runner Samantha Sunstrom for breaking the school record in the 1600 meter (one mile) run at the Minnesota State High School Track Meet at Hamline University on Friday, June 7th.

Sam was the 14 seed in the 16 person field and ran a 5:09:94 to finish 12th overall.  Jenna Trudeson of Bemidji won the race with a time of 4:59:75.

Sunday Night Group Runs

Just a reminder that our first Sunday night run was this past Sunday, June 9th and they will continue the rest of the summer pending participation from all of you! Our next run is this Sunday the 16th at 7 pm.  We run from the new shelter near the boat landing at Sauk Rapids Muncipal Park.

Congtatulations and good luck to Samantha Sunstrom at State Track Meet!

Storm Cross Country runner Sam Sunstrom set the school record in the 1600 meter run (roughly one mile) at the 8AA Sectional meet last Friday in Sartell with a time of 5:13.  This enabled her to qualify for the Minnesota State High School track meet at Hamline University this coming weekend.

Sam will be running her event at 10:42 am on Saturday morning.

Sunday night group runs to continue during the "summer" of 2013!

I have received feedback from a couple of runners that we are to keep the Sunday night runs this summer so we will do that.  

We meet at 7 pm SHARP at Sauk Rapids Municipal Park at the new shelter every Sunday starting this Sunday June 9.   The Park is located on the river between the Sauk Rapids VFW and the Highway 15 bridge.  

Typical runs are anywhere from 2-5 miles depending on your fitness level.  If you wish to run two, you can run along the river path up stream toward the old paper mill to the entrance to Fisher's Mobile Home Park and turn around. 

If you wish to run three, you run along the river path downstream to the very end at Lion's Park (where the old Sauk Rapids bridge landed), take a right on River Avenue South and turn around at 6th Street South.

If you want to run five, obviously, you can do both legs.

We need participation from the group to keep this organized activity going! ( a minimum of five runners every Sunday).  If we don't get enough participation, we will suspend the group run and let you organize runs on your own.

First CC function of the season - Save the Date!

The Storm CC will be holding their annual meat raffle during Burger Night at the VFW in Sauk Rapids on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.

Volunteer parents will be needed to sell raffle tickets and student volunteers will be needed to "show a presence" at the event and bus tables if necessary. 

This will be the first fund raiser for the team in the 2013 season.  Please check back for updates as the date approaches.

Summer 2013 Group Runs - looking for input!

For the past three years, we have been doing group runs from Municipal Park in Sauk Rapids on Sunday evenings at 7 pm during the summer.   

I am looking for feedback from all of you who have participated in this in the past or will be participating this summer.   I am considering moving the group run to Monday nights from Sunday nights and would like to know if you would like to keep Sunday nights or move it to Mondays.  Additionally, I would be looking to see if an earlier start time (6 or 6:30 pm) would work better than a 7 pm start.

Hump Day 5K's Continue

Just a reminder that the Hump Day 5K's are still being run on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm from the Endurunce Shop and Brothers.  If you are not in a spring sport and your schedule allows, head on down for the 5K.  The price is right (free!) and you have a great chance of meeting other local runners.
